Okay, registration is open. There is a simple chemistry test that I hope will stop spammers. In any case, you can always contact me by email.
My rules are something like this, "This is my forum and I decide what is posted." This is a chemistry forum and I will edit anything.
Subject, be specific, "Help" will get deleted altogether or changed to something like "SN2 reaction of bromocyclohexane".
Add structures if you can.
I have received a few notices asking me where their password verification is. This is a public domain forum package, so I do not make programatic changes. I can say I have tested this registration feature a few times. In my experience, it has sent my password immediately. I can imagine the following to also be true. If you are on a system that is heavily spammed, your mail might be filtered to block some of the junk mail. I suggest you check this. It would be helpful to know if this is happening as opposed to my server being slow. Also, if there is an error in the email address on registration, the email will be sent to the wrong address as well. I believe that is one of the real purposes of the registration.
