NMR of 1-chlorobutane, the adjacency rule.

Here is 1-chlorobutane. You can see that the number of peaks depends on the number of adjacent hydrogens. You can examine the spectrum and see how the number of peaks in a signal depends on the total number of hydrogen atoms on the neighboring atoms.
